Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing

Dura-Coat

A Polyurethane modified methyl methacrylate resin system delivering rapid cure times and seamless waterproofing for complex roof details. Cures in 30 minutes even at 0°C, suitable for multiple substrates including concrete, asphalt, metal, bitumen membranes, new warm roofs and existing liquid systems.

Mask

Why specify Dura-Coat?

Rapid cure

Rapid polymerisation enables application and curing in as little as 30 minutes, helping accommodate programme-sensitive works.

Low temperature application

Can be applied in temperatures down to 0°C, extending the installation season where project conditions require.

Seamless detailing

Forms a continuous waterproofing membrane around penetrations, upstands, outlets, and other intricate roof details without introducing joints.

Substrate compatibility

Suitable for application to a range of compatible substrates, including concrete, asphalt, metal, timber, and existing liquid waterproofing systems.

System Build-Up

Each Dura-Coat system comprises a sequence of compatible components, with each layer performing a specific function to prepare the substrate, form the waterproofing membrane, and protect the completed system.

Primer

Preparing the substrate

Dura system primers are selected to suit the existing substrate, promoting adhesion and creating a suitable surface for the liquid waterproofing system.

The appropriate primer is determined by the roof construction and project requirements.

Membrane Thix

For Creating Watertight Membranes

The Dura System membrane is a polyurethane modified, thixotropic methacrylate resin system that is suitable for creating watertight membranes on a wide variety of substrates.

The membrane can also be used for coating both rising or steep inclining surfaces.

Membrane

Dura-Systems Membrane is a polyurethane modified, thixotropic methacrylate resin system that is suitable for creating watertight membranes on a wide variety of substrates. The formulation Dura-Systems Membrane can also be used for coating on rising or very steeply inclined surfaces.

Top Coat

Protecting the system

Dura-Systems Top Coat is a low-viscosity, UV stable, 2-component methacrylic resin offering a protective surface to the waterproofing below.

It serves as a hard wearing, impact resisting protective finish to the Dura-Coat system.
